⛰️ About the Trek
Standing at 1,075 meters (3,526 ft), Tung Fort takes about 1 to 1.5 hours to trek to the top. The fort is known for its sheer, near-vertical climbs and narrow pathways near the summit.
🥾 Difficulty
Easy to Moderate overall, but the final ascent has steep, narrow steps and exposed sections with no railings — so caution is a must, especially if you're not used to heights.
⏰ Best Time to Visit

Local guides and parking are available at the base village of Tungi.
⚠️ Tips
- Wear proper trekking shoes with good grip
- Be extra careful on the final stretch — no railings on exposed sections
- Carry water, especially in winter when there's less shade
